Are You Compatible With Your Partner?

There's no other chilling realization than to wake up and figure out that your partner or marriage spouse is totally different from you and has completely different goals. However, this is the realization of thousands of individuals across the world if they weren't totally prepared when they get married in the first place. Furthermore, lots of couples leave out the important aspects of considering marriage, such as who is going to be the major breadwinner, who's going to stay home and take care of the kids, as well as what type of activities they'll both enjoy. All of these things along with many other issues are very important to consider about yourself and your partner before the relationship is taken to the next level.

One of the ways in which to figure out whether or not you are compatible with your partner or potential husband or wife is pre-marital counseling. Even though pre-marital counseling is required for a lot of different religions and church ceremonies anyway, taking a counseling session with your future spouse can do a world of wonders to figure out where your compatibility lies. A second way to figure out your compatibility with each other is to do a self-test. A self-test means that you and your partner will sit down and make a list of all interests, questions, needs, wants, and hopes for the relationship.

These types of self-tests have been shown to not only increase a couples' awareness about each other, but also to increase the romantic life of the two. There are many places where these self-tests can be obtained, and an example of a great one written by Michael Webb is "1000 Questions for Couples" that actually goes into detail about some of the questions that need to be asked of each other."
