The animal kingdom is a good place to have a good conversation. You enjoy the sight of animals and its gives you a chance to know her favorite animal. Even if you don't like animals that much, zoos don't pressure you for attention (Unless your date wants to watch the animals shows or catch the feeding times). It gives you an opportunity to carry a conversation at your own pace when the both of you are walking together. It's a casual place to ease the pressure, which is good for the both of you (especially on a first date).
